The Business Nobody Thinks About Until It Stops Working

ListenAsk most people what powers a factory floor and they'll picture machines, not the compressor quietly feeding air pressure to all of them. Yogesh Khurana built Air Care Equipment on that gap - a product category nobody thinks about until it fails, and the whole line stops with it.
An unglamorous, essential business
Compressor manufacturing doesn't have an obvious "founder story" arc. There's no viral moment, no dramatic pivot. What there is instead is the slower, more common reality of Indian manufacturing: identifying a product that every factory genuinely needs, and building the operational discipline to manufacture and service it reliably, year after year.
That reliability is the actual product. A factory doesn't switch compressor suppliers on a whim - the cost of downtime if a compressor fails is too high. Which means trust, once built, tends to hold. But building it in the first place takes exactly the kind of unglamorous consistency that rarely gets talked about in founder content.
Why this business matters more than it looks
Air Care Equipment isn't a household name, and it isn't trying to be one. It's part of the layer of Indian manufacturing that everything else quietly depends on - the businesses that don't get profiled because their product isn't exciting, even though the entire factory floor stops without it.
That's exactly the kind of founder story Founders' Knock exists to tell.
